History & Details:
This Electra has 61,435 original miles, it has the 350-V8 with a 4 barrel carb. It was purchased new on May 8th 1976 with 3 Miles on the odometer at Edward J. Schwarz Buick in Honesdale Pa, a sticker price of $8,033.55, On May 30th 1978 it went to the Ziebart company which performed a rustproof coating inside of all the body panels, when on that date it had 14,800 miles. Over the first 10 years it was enjoyed and used for its purpose as daily transportation, with occasional trips to Atlantic City! It was last Pennsylvania state inspected at 60,868 miles on January 4th 1986, that summer the owner purchased another brand new Buick and parked this one in the garage with minimal use for the next three decades, an occasional monthly drive here and there was all.. it's always been garage kept.

During its hibernation period over the decades It had a water pump & hoses done, (original hoses are in trunk). It had a repaint, and it was a quality job so overall the pewter silver gray exterior is nice, the silver 1/2 padded top is very nice without any bubbles underneath, see photos, the chrome bumpers could use a polish, overall It could use a good wash, wax, & buff. The engine bay shows it's originality, The trunk area is original, all of the cardboard trunk wall linings are there, the factory spare wheel and tire, along with bumper jack is there. we just had two rear bumper fillers painted and installed, the original plastic fillers were brittle and had cracks which is very common, so we decided to just spend a few hundred and have it fixed properly.. The garnet red vinyl interior is nice, the only imperfections would be the dash cracks, the door arm rest cracks, & tear on the driver seat area stitching. This electra has power windows that work fine, a 6-way power seat that does not currently work it needs a switch solenoid which is available here on eBay, the cruise control works perfectly with the buzzer that goes off on the speedometer at the set speed, it has an am fm 8-track stereo radio which turns on but sound doesn't play, it has air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, power trunk release, passenger side floor litter can, the headliner is nice, the door sills are perfect, carpet is very nice with the 4 original rubber Buick floor mats. the undercarriage is solid, The engine starts fine, it runs smoothly, drives well, stops fine, shifts great, i took it for a drive today on the interstate cruise control set at 70 no issues. It has ALL of its original paperwork INCLUDING the FACTORY GM DEALER WINDOW STICKER, SALES INVOICE, ORIGINAL TITLE COPY with envelope, the owners manual, ORIGINAL SET of GM KEYS, & dealership key chain, also other miscellaneous original documents & pamphlets.

It's a WELL DOCUMENTED 42 year old Buick, although it wasn't gone over from top to bottom so transporting the vehicle home would be the smart choice, after driving the brake pedal felt a bit soft, it hasn't seen steady highway driving for sometime, and the tires, brakes, etc should all be gone over first.
