This is my 1978 Buick Electra Limited that was sold new on 5/9/1978 at Schuth Buick Co. in Fullerton, California. Car spent its entire life there in CA until last year. It is absolutely rust free with 41,000 documented miles. It has the bigger 403 cubic inch V8 which runs flawless and transmission shifts smooth. Power steering, brakes, windows, seat, trunk opener and locks. Car also has air conditioning. Everything works as it should from the lights, cruise control, windows, clock and even the radio and 8-track player.The only exception to this is the power antenna does not work which is common. I don’t want to misrepresent it in any way but it really is in great shape overall given the age and the fact this is not a high-end collector car. There is ZERO rust on the body and the underside is extremely clean. Car is not perfect as there are dings and flaws in the paint here and there so if you are overly fussy and unrealistic, this car is not for you. This is a car you can drive and enjoy without the worry Like you have with a trailer queen. Please note some flaws I have taken in the pictures. It basically runs and drives and stops like it did back in 1978. It has been gone through extensively with a tune-up, new brakes, shocks and many other parts to keep it maintained correctly. Interior is smoke free and the lighters have never been used. Interior also has no rips or tears. Carpet is nice with original GM rubber floor mats. Headliner and visors have been redone at some point. Car passed NYS inspection last fall and I enjoyed driving it around but it’s now time to sell and move on to something else. I am not unrealistic about the cars value unlike some people and have a reasonable price to move it out. Take a look at another 1978 Electra 225 (a step down from this) with more mileage (50k) and smaller 350 engine listed here on eBay, currently not hitting the reserve at $7,500! I found this same car on another site for $17,500 which gives you an idea of just what their reserve is. My reserve is a small fraction of that.
