1948 BUICK ROADMASTER * restoration project / parts car
1948 Buick Roadmaster
Please review all of the 24 pictures included as they reveal the current condition the best. There are a lot of very good parts on this vehicle and both front and rear seats although damaged are not beyond repair. The door handle on the driver side is difficult to open but it does. It would need to be repaired or replaced.
The sun visor located above the outside windshield is a great extra on this vehicle. There is a BUICK clock on the dashboard and the glove box does not stay closed. The huge steering wheel is super cool. I did not locate the key for the ignition, doors, or trunk. There is NO paperwork with this vehicle. It is just a great parts car for restoration work.
The glass in all the windows except the drivers door is without damage. The trunk holds a spare tire and jack. I took a picture of the label BODY BY FISHER just above the BUICK door sill plate and across from the small light that would allow for you to see getting in or out in the darkness.
Tires are flat as seen in pictures and all have the BUICK hubcaps. Front bumperand hood have damage but still opens on one side, and this is seen inpic.#18 of the 24 pictures included.Buyer responsible for pick up within 14 days of auction ending. E-mail if you would like to look it over prior to bidding. The mechanic was able to spin engine by hand and stated that it feels as if it has good compression.
I appreciate your time and interest.
