Fabulous 1957 Buick Roadmaster Convertible

The Buick Roadmaster Convertible was the top of the line for Buick in 1957.

This Roadmaster has had two owners for the past 26 +years and is in excellent condition,

Model number 76C Style number 4767X

The complete car was disassembled stripped to bare metal completely epoxy primed then repainted in the original color of Antique Ivory (yellow). The black lower color with Black Haartz top and matching boot makes this car absolutely stunning.

The body is razor straight with no rust, ll the body lines and fit of doors, runk and hood are excellent.

Even the power top frame was removed, edia blasted and repainted.

It then received a flawless fitting Haartz top.

The top boot was made in the same material as the top to match.

All the rubber weatherstripping was replaced. (top frame, oors and trunk).

. The trim is also excellent with all polished stainless and brilliant chrome.

The interior bright work sparkles like jewelry to accent the like new leather seating surfaces.

When the interior was redone I copied the original factory pattern for the seats and door panels.

All seat surfaces, kick panels, oor panels and rear trim panels, ere upholstered in matching

leather not vinyl.

The dash pad was replaced.

I spent hundreds of dollars on the trunk side cardboard by digitally duplicating the original colors and pattern from the original ones. ( I have samples of the original materials should they ever be questioned)

The matching number Original engine was completely rebuilt. The Dynaflow transmission is so smooth you would think it is NEW.

The starter and generator were rebuilt.

The radiator and heater core were also redone. The hoses were replaced.

The exhaust was replaced with aluminized mufflers and pipes and the exhaust deflectors in the bumper ends were renewed.

The brakes were all redone as well.

All 5 matching tires were replaced, ubcaps were polished and the center caps replaced.

The original wheels were painted the correct tangerine color as they were when new.

The undercarriage was bead blasted to bare metal, poxy primed and repainted, /p> Visually, his car is pleasing to the eye; indeed, his is a testament to the greatest of the 50s, nd the standards that Buick adhered to in building the mighty 70 series Roadmaster.

Beneath the surface, his Buick offers everything for the serious collector including power steering, ower brakes, ower windows, ower antenna, ix-way power seat and Power top. All power options work as they would when new.

I originally bought the car in the late 80's and when it was delivered from Colorado it was missing the engine, t took about 40 to 50 phone calls but I located it in LA Cal where it had been sent to be rebuilt. It was complete and untouched and to my surprise the numbers matched the original vin of the car. I didn't finish the car until late 2008 and drove it less that 100 miles that year.

I sold it to a friend, lso an avid collector in Jan 2009 and he has asked me to resale it on his behave. It was shipped to him after his purchase and it has been kept in his climate controlled facility ever since and he only drives it occasionally in the late spring thru the fall in Gunnison Colorado. As the Roadmaster is in Gunnison, ol. please call me at the number below and I will be glad to make an appointment for you and/or your inspector. The only difference from when I sold it to him is the brakes are pulling and will need to be checked, all the brakes were completely renewed with new hoses and wheel cylinders in 2008) It shouldn't take much to make them perfect again. This Series 70 Roadmaster convertible represents perhaps the best of all, ower, olors, tyle, hrome and Flash, his is the "Ultimate"
