Okay, here it is. I really don't want to let this go......but... up for sale is my 1972 Emerald Mist Buick Riviera Boat Tail. This car is just about as stock as you can get. The car is a pretty solid car, there is some rust around the fenders where is has started behind the chrome trim. Floors and trunk are solid. Car is perfect to start a restoration. When I bought this car I drove it home 3 1/2 hours with no problems. Last time it was on licensed was in 1990. Still has 90's plates on it. Guy I bought it from had it in a barn for years. Interior is real nice. The only place I can see that needs repaired is the drivers seat. Passenger seat is in great shape and the back seats don't look like they've been sat in. Carpet does have a worn spot from the drivers foot but not bad. Engine is the big ole 455. I was told this is a rare car because it does not have power windows, locks, cruise and it has a bench front seat instead of the buckets. I was told it was a special order car. It does have factory A.C. which blows cold. Car seems to run great. It will need updated belts, they are looking pretty old, a wheel cylinder is leaking on the front passenger side. Needs new tires (these are over 20 years old). Once again, I don't really want to see this car go but, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
