This may be the finest example of a 1984 Buick LeSabre in the country.It was bought and owned by a Buick enthusiast. He took excellent careof it until he passed in 1992. His son put it on blocks in his basementand kept it covered. When his son passed this year, the originalowner's granddaughter decided to sell it. She and her husbandhadit checked by a mechanic, had the fluids checked and changedwhere needed and put it up for sale.
The original tires held air long enough to make the 400 mile trip home.I had them replaced with the best whitewall tires my tire man could find.Age had taken it's toll on the headliner, bumper fillers and the trim belowthe vinyl top. I had them all replaced. The battery seemed weak andI had it replaced with a new premium battery.
It runs, drives and feels like a new 1984 Buick LeSabre. The paint andvinyl top are in very good condition, probably because it was covered.
Everything I have tested on the car so far works. It has been too cold totest the AC. The owner's manual and original window sticker are in theglove compartment.
I am an old retired guy and make a hobby of these old Buicks. I lookfor nice cars all over the country. When I find them, I buy them andtinker with them. It is a strange hobby, but gets me off the couch.
I currently have too many cars and something has to go.
