1960 Buick LeSabre --

The LeSabre was a full size car made by Buick from 1959 to 2005 and represented some of the most stylish and sophisticated vehicles of their time. The first generation was made for just two years from 1959 to 1960 and had slanted quad headlights chrome grill and large tailfins. The 1960 facelift brought even more dramatic style and was one of the first Buicks with the then-new "Tri-Shield" logo. It offered a standard 364cid V8 that produced 250hp with the 2bbl carburetor and 300hp with the 4bb...l. Most came with a 2-speed Dynaflow automatic transmission and they came in a variety of body styles. The convertibles were very popular but it is estimated that less 14000 were produced. GR Auto Gallery is proud to present this gorgeous 1960 LeSabre for you consideration. Finished in a stunning shade of blue with a white top this is an eye catching car. The paint and body quality are excellent with even finish and excellent chrome. The current owner of 37 years claims the car was restored back in 1995. She says the body was redone and a new convertible top was fitted. It certainly looks very nice. The top fits well and the glass is also in good shape. Whitewall tires are wrapped on the factory chrome hubcaps. The interior is very nice as well with a tri-tone upholstery in white grey and black. It is comfortable spacious and free of rips and stains. The car features the 364cid V8 with 2bbl carb and the engine sounds were strong and the exhaust note is very sporty. The car has power brakes and power steering as well as a working heater. The car wafts down the road in comfort and style that modern cars could only dream about.
