You're looking at avery rare 1932 Buick Victoria (this is the smaller 50 series - 114" wheelbase). Only 2,194 of these were built. That is only quarter of the production of a 1932 Ford Victoria - not including the 1,000's of fiberglass Fords! Not only is it much rarer that a Ford, but it is also about a foot longer and includes an openable trunk. Stand out in a crowd of Duece Fords with something different!
So, about this car in particular. I bought it a few years ago from a master craftsman hot rod builder in Washington state who was building it for himself before his untimely passing. It is clear that he was building a truly quality resto-rod, as the workmanship is fantastic! The bodywork is95% complete, and very well done (the doorswere not fitted before his passing, so they will need to be shimmed and fitted onceto theassembly stage). The chassis is also 95% complete, including the stainless fuel tank, custom driveshaft and even brake plumbing. The steering is also complete. It still needs exhaust (past the headers), and of course disassembly for paint color of choice. The LS motor (truck) and automatic transmission are in place, and include the A/C compressor, custom exhaust headers and reprogrammed computer. Also includes extensive new chrome work (headlights, front decor, etc), new wood (where not replaced with metal), and a great custom dash complete with new Classic Instruments, and a hidden A/C panel nicely tucked below the smoothed metal dash. Power window switches are controlled by original style handles on the doors. A new tilt column, Lokar floor shifter, custom e-brake are just a few more of the many details already in place. So much has been completed, yet there is much more to do. The car is on shop roller wheels, ready for a custom set of wheels of your choice. Please note that the chrome wire wheels seen in a few of the photos are NOT included.
PLEASE NOTE: I will be putting the Buick on my lift within a few days and can shoot some detailed chassis shots. Once you see the underside of this car, you'll really understand the $ invested and the value offered. Email me if you'd like to see those, or check back regularly to the photobucket link below....
