Description:

1963 Buick Riviera coupe

1963 Buick Riviera with only 61,000 actual miles!! Truly a time capsule, a true survivor. The car had a repaint in 1987, otherwise the car is TOTALLY UNRESTORED as you see it! Never damaged or rust repaired. Nothing has been touched up or covered up, this is the REAL DEAL!! FIRST year design and the most iconic design of all Rivieras.......
Paint is very nice, but is showing some patina on the hood as pictured. The chrome and stainless is excellent, some of the pot metal surfaces have some pitting. Overall, excellent for a 54 year old car!! The interior, the original leather has cracking as you can see in the pictures. The dash and dash pad are stunning, so is the carpet. Door panels are nice with the exception of a crack on one arm rest pad. Overall the car is in a very good unrestored state inside and out. The engine is as pictured, original and untouched. The trunk mat is stained but it's there. Spare is an original tire from new. OK..the bottom side. Was never undercoated and is in great shape! Solid with only normal surface corrosion present. THE FLOORS, FRAME AND TRUNK FLOOR ARE SOLID AS A ROCK!! Again, normal surface corrosion. Newer non correct dual exhaust. I'll stick my neck out and say this....This beautiful Riviera has got to be one of the nicest mainly un restored original cars anywhere!!
CARS LIKE THIS ARE ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE...!!! Mechanically: The 401 "Nailhead" V8 starts and runs excellent. No weird noises or smoke. The "Dual Plane Dynaflow" shifts as it should. No slipping or hestitating. The AC does not blow cold air but the compressor is free. All the guages work as the y should, the radio isn't getting reception. Power windows work great, the power driver's seat goes forward and back. AM I MISSING ANYTHING?? If I am, give me a CALL so we can discuss any of your questions. Tom 402-650-3849
