1970 Buick Skylark Race Drag Car

1970 Buick Skylark

For sale is a 1970 Buick Skylark that is set up to be a drag, street/strip car. The car has absolutely no bondo or filler and was repainted by a local shop about 6 months ago in a base coat/clear coat set up. The body is all metal except for the fiberglass bolt on/functional hood scoop. I do have an additional rear bumper that will go with the sale as well.
The interior has a brand new carpet and sill plates, rear seat removed with a metal plate welded in to separate the trunk area from the cabin. the car has all original glass. The drivers side goes up and down on the crank but the passengers side had the regulator removed so it currently has to be either up or down. The car has all brand new Dolphin gauges and a fully welded in roll cage in excellent shape, the cage does have the padding on it as well. I do have a full race harness I can include as well. The car currently has a B&M race shifter installed.
Headlights and tail lights work, the new wiring kit is installed to include a setup for blinkers and all other options, it is an EZ wiring 12 circuit kit. The wires for all non-race related items are just curled up out of the way. The car has an MSD ignition on the firewall as well.
The car is set up for a small block chevy motor - currently has a 383 stroker motor i will be pulling out. The car will include a Turbo 350 transmission with a 2400 stall converter if the reserve is met. Currently the car has a 12 bolt spooled rear axle with what i believe are 4.56 gears. I do have an additional full 12 bolt rear suspension I can include as well. The car currently has slicks but I do have matching rims and tires to go with the car as well. The car has a brand new 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust installed. The car also has a radiator installed with electric fans. The car is a Power drum brake car with line lock installed. The car also has a fuel cell in the trunk.
The paint is pretty good but certainly not perfect. There is a small 6"x10" area in the trunk I cut out as a previous battery relocation leaked a little bit and made a few small holes. I have the patch panel available as well. The trunk is bolt on, the hood is hinged and has pins in the front. The turn signals are not installed but i do have them available as well. I also have all of the trim available for the car as well if so desired. Once again this DOES NOT include a motor.
