1975 Buick LeSabre BASE

NO RESERVE - Hi Everyone - Up for auction is my 1975 Buick LeSabre Convertible - with 89K actual miles. This is a local car and I am the third owner. The first 2 owners were the same family. The father, then the daughter. I purchased it from the family. It is a very reliable and nice running vehicle.
I have owned it for 3 years and it starts and runs on a dime. The car has a nice convertible top and it does work, it does need a little help on the way down but functions fine. The top has 2 small tares, but the underneath membrane is in tact. I do keep the car in the garage, as I do not encourage keeping it out in inclement weather.
The floor and trunk are solid, the interior has a tare on the drivers seat along the stitching. I am confident this can be restitched by a qualified shop. The radio works, the speaker covers in the back need to be fastened, but that is minor.
I recently had the car painted and I do get a lot of "thumbs up" and compliments when I take it out. There are some imperfections, but seriously, its very nice looking for what it is! Its not perfect, but its not a rot box or bondo queen either. Yes, I am sure there are patches, but when I bought it, it was more weathered than anything else.
There is some of the moldings missing, I do have some of it in the trunk. This was the last year of the convertibles by GM; this is one of 5300 built. The other great thing about this car is it is documented since new. I have the original sales invoice it was sold new on December 12, 1974! It reads:- AM Radio -> Its actually AM / FM with an 8 track- Rear Speaker / Power Antena- Air Conditioner - which I have not used; and I do not believe it works- Speed Altert and Trip Odometer - (that is the "yellow" marker on the dash at 55 MPH - yes - you still hear the faint "buzz" from time to time.)- Tinted Glass- Bumper Guards- Remote control Mirror - (which needs some adjusting!)- Floor mats - (worn but they are still in there)- Power windows- ACC Group - (I do not know what that means)- Protective side molding - (Missing as per pictures).
What you are getting is a great entry vehicle into the collector car hobby that is road worthy and reliable. This is a great NO RESERVE price point for a convertible no less! Don't get me wrong, it has its quirks, but I have driven it in very cold weather and she kicks over every time! It is a great car for a summer cruise to take the family out for some ice cream or a very cool cruise in. she has its share of wear and tare - but not junk by any means. It has nice acceleration and very good braking as well. I have had it up to 75 MPH and it cruises along nicely. This is a great summertime beach car for down the shore! The top down on a summer night, how cool is that folks?
What you are not getting is a Barrett Jackson / Mecum perfection trailer queen. She is a great car - meant to be driven and appreciated for what it is. One of the last convertible land cruisers that can go on a long haul easily and it is not that bad on gas.
This car is being sold "AS'IS" and "where is" with no warranties expressed or implied. You can actually fly in and drive it home if you like, saving you transportation costs. It is the buyers responsibility for all shipping costs, taxes, title etc. I am happy to help coordinate the pickup on my side.
This is a cool car, at a great NO RESERVE price point, with documentation since new. High bidder wins the car and good luck bidding! Please feel free to ask any questions.
Serious bidders do contact me. I do have the car for sale locally and this auction can end at anytime.
Thanks for looking and good luck!
