Description:
1970 Buick Skylark
This car was owned by a very special individual who was very well known in the racing industry and road racin, He was very accomplished. He was very meticulous in everything he did. He had built a Buick Invicta 1961 called The Stiletto that won every national award and Good Guys shows, he spent over 225k on that project. He basically gave it away because he wanted a car that was fast and well built. he loved his Buicks. So the quest began in the mid 2013. Javk and i found a exceptionally clean 1970 Buick Skylark, bench seat car. He gave me the car and said do the whole suspension correctly so a complete PST poly fron end super kit was ordered, Then a PST body mounts, Then hodgkis front and rear sway bars. Then QA1 coil over front springs and rear leaf springs and QA1 rear shocks, upper and lover rear control arms all new wheel bearings, new MP Power disc brakes. Rear is a new Eaton 342 Possi rear end. The Transmission is a turbo 400 rebuilt to handle up to 800 HP We sent the motor to TRI-Shield Perfromance in MN you can look him up, all he does is Buick motors his name is JIM Weise. I took pictures of the sheets to view its quite extensive with way over 12k invested in the motor alone, and i have to tell you this is one fast car and im used to fast cars. The dyno sheets that is included shows almost 570 HP with close to 600 TRQ mind you this drives very tame on the street till you get into it with your foot . at 40mph you ease on the throttle and the wheels start spinning, . of course a aluminum radiator and electric fans keep this motor uner 19 degrees. We have a book with every rceipt included with 0ver 52k in receipts . Unfortunitly my Dear friend Jack Moody has left us and I am here selling his car. I promise you will not be disappointed. The body is rust free, he wanted a driver not a trailer quenn like his last car. the car is lazer straigh, the uneder carriage is totally rust free . all original body panels and has a couple of blems and small dings The paint is showing some minor pittin, . the interior is quite spotless . he wanted to drive it and enjoy it and he surely did and so can you. thank youVehicle Details:
