For auction is a burnt 1987 Buick Grand National that we purchased from an insurance auction. Our intention was touse it to source parts for a project. However, like many projects, it just hasn't got off of the ground. This is a great parts vehicle and has many parts that are unique to the Grand National. The fire damaged the interior, which is completely gone. Nothing left of the interior at all. All of the glass is broken out. The hood has a little heat damage to the paint but is still usable. The front nose of the car is good except where the fire department chipped the fiberglass in two spots. I DO have those pieces and they can be fixed pretty easily as I've done extensive fiberglass repair in the past. The engine appears stock and turns over just fine. The harness does show some heat damage near the firewall. Otherwise everything looks good. I put the transmission in neutral and the car rolls easy. The transmission also appears to be fine. The driveshaft is there and so is the Grand National posi rear differential. 3 of the wheels are good. The 4th is chewed up on the edge but could probably hold air. The trunk lid, rear spoiler, front/rear bumper fillers, front/rear bumpers, tail lights are all good. The rear quarter panels are definitely usable. Other body panels are also usable depending on how good of body man you are. Vehicle will be sold parts only, no title unless you are a dealer. Then we can transfer the salvage title to you.
