PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING. Up for sale is my 66 Skylark GS convertible this car is registered and on the road. Somewhere in it's life the 401 was switched for a 340 with a 3 speed automatic, the shifter was moved from the column to the floor and a console with tach installed. So the car is not original!!!!!!!!!!! This car runs as quiet as a new car and shifts wonderful, it is not a Barrett Jackson Show car but it is beautiful inside and out. The star wars air breather is not included it will be auctioned in a different auction the car will come with the chrome Edlebrock cleaner. A few modifications you should know about, the carb is a Edlebrock and the ignition has been changed to a Mallory Electronic with an electric fuel pump and new Flowmaster exhaust front to back and it sounds like a muscle car of the 60's should sound like. The car is a factory A/C car and the compressor is missing all other parts are there for the AC. The horn is not working and I am not sure why but the radio and all interior exterior lights work as they should. Buick made 2047 GS convertibles in 66 and they are hard to come by but I have no garage to keep it in and I don't want to leave it sitting out. The car had a patch welded to the frame sometime in it's life the welding is very good but the metal is a little larger than the actual frame it does not effect the car driving I have run it 3000 miles since I purchased it. I am going to list the link of the car having it's paint job so everyone can see the bodywork done to it without asking me about it. I am listing it locally as well as EBay and reserve the right to end the auction early if sold. I have clean title in my name and the car is being sold as is where is with no warranty implied or expressed. Do not bid if you do not intend to follow through your bid is a contract to purchase this car not come down to look at it. EBay is not a game if you need your wife's permission get it before han, if you need to pastor to guide you then go to church beforehand but do not waste my time. Again this is not a Barrett Jackson GS and it is not priced like one if you want that you'll need a lot more money than this car is listed for but it would do very well at the local level. Thanks for looking and I am not looking to trade the car but I would consider a partial trade for a convertible Corvair ( 4 speed only ) and I do not have a buy it now price.
