This vehicle was a 13 year labor of love that I didn't intend to ever sell, owever, inancial obligations have forced my hand. I bought the car out of Georgia and it was rust free except rocker in front of drivers rear wheel. I replaced with metal. Odometer reads 62,000 miles. I bought it from a classic car dealer in Atlanta, ut the mileage wasn't documented.Let's start with mechanical restoration...Engine runs perfectly and did not need anything. I did locate a 4bbl intake from a '55 and switched it. I saved the original 2bbl intake which goes with the car. It is a 322 nailhead. Just installed a 5 blade water pump rebuilt by The Flying Dutchman, ebuilt fuel pump also. All new hoses, il and filter. No leaks!!!Transmission was rebuilt by a local transmission company whose owner has done many Dyna Flow rebuilds.Front end was rebuilt, ushings, ie rod, tc.Brakes and hardware, ncluding lines, ere replaced.Installed Jamco lowering kit that dropped it 3-4 inches. Kit included springs and shocks designed to lower and keep decent ride.Wheels are new, s well as, hitewall tires.Re-chromed die cast tail light housings at cost of $1500.00. New tail light lens and head light rimsPainted 7 years ago and ALWAYS stored inside. Does have a few very small bubbles along bottom of passenger doorNew WindshieldComplete new interior including recovered dash pad.Trunk is immaculate. Never rusted or patched.Rear bumper is very nice. Front bumper has light pitting starting on underside.Stainless trim is nice, ittle IF any dingsNeeds wiper armsEngine compartment completely cleaned and paintedNeeds front end alignment after new parts have been installedNew exhaust from muffler back
