We have up for auction a vehicle we have owned for 12 years.I have had 10 of these 65 Skylark's over the past 30 years.I enjoy driving these A body Buick's, so I built this car to drive.We started with a San Diego California car.The body was solid the paint stripped. We then removed dents and replaced a couple of panels.While the front clip was off we Cleaned and painted the frame rails and under hood panels.At this time we replaced the front suspension with new Moog part's.Power disc brakes were added from a 69 SS Chevelle.The engine started off in life as a GM 455 crate short block.We added 1969 430 heads with new stage one valves and springs.We cammed it with a SP1 club cam, good street cam.It breathes through a stock quadraje. ron intake and exhaust manifolds.The power goes through a turbo 400 trans and a 3.08 posi rear end.The interior is black vinyl, uckets and head liner.The car sits on 4 factory Buick 14" road wheels.We will include the original 300" engine and trans.We also have the radio, speaker and a power steering box that will go with the car . This vehicle can be delivered to the spring Carlisle PA.swap meet.April 23-24.
