1937 Bugatti Other Replica
Daytona Automotive built approximately 80 Daytona Moya bodies in 1980-81. They are a blend of early 40's Bugatti and Morgan roadsters of the era. Very few were completed and driven. This one uses a 1975 VW Beetle chassis and running gear. It has the original blue gel coat finish, in excellent condition. (very few small scratches in the 38 year old finish) The car runs and drives beautifully. The original owner installed the dual fender mounts which really set off the car. The fenders and body are steel reinforced, and the fiberglass extra heavy. I recently installed a complete aftermarket wiring harness, new carburetor, tuneup, etc. It runs strong, no smoke.
