1974 BMW 2002 Automatic

Extremely rare 1974 BMW 2002 Automatic. Bought 2 years ago as a project car but I’ll have to let her go. Just don’t have the time.

Vehicle Details

Runs well, needs some love and skill, mostly bodywork. I’ve put in hours into the mechanical and electrical, but have reached my ability limits with the needed bodywork.

Was rear ended while parked and will require a back panel repair/replacement.

Includes most OG trim—missing two pieces of the body trim.

Some surface rust and two spots I’ve found that would need patching. Has been stored indoors since I acquired it about 4 years ago.

Interior will need to be mostly redone. Door panels are in decent shape.

Transmission is in good shape.

Brakes are working but need new pads.

*Tail lights are included just removed at the moment.

Originally painted in Fjord, previous owner repainted a teal/green. OG blue vinyl interior.

This is a project car but has good bones and is a blast to drive.

Due to the larger transmission well in the super rare automatic models one could install a Getrag 5-Speed and make this a solid little rally car.
