I am the second owner of this time-capsule 21k mile 5-speed 1994 BMW 325i convertible, which was purchased new in 1994 from Mauro Motors, Hamden CT(now BMW of North Haven CT) and acquired from its original owner in 2021. It is powered by a 2.5-liter M50 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission and is finished in its original Hellrot (Bright Red) over tan leather upholstery. The car is equipped with a power semi-automatic black soft top, 15″ Style 13 alloy wheels, fog lights, heated power-adjustable front seats, a cassette stereo, power windows and locks, an onboard computer, cruise control, anti-lock brakes, stability control, and dual-zone climate control. This E36 325i convertible comes with full factoryowner’s manual packet, salesliterature,factorycassette tape,service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Connecticut title (with a copy of the original title in the original owner’s name).

Exterior details include fog lights, and dual exhaust outlets. The antenna gasket, fuel tank sending unit, rear speakers (original BMW) and door handle gaskets were recently replaced. The paint is original and in mint condition except for minor areas of touch-up paint that has been applied to scratches on the rear bumper cover and mirror caps. All body panels have their original VIN tags. The convertible top window and headlight lenses are crystal clear, although there are a few minor scratches on the driver’s headlight, which do not show up in pictures. The silver painted style 13 alloy wheels are unscratched, and still wear their original date coded Michelin MXV Green tires, weights and valve stems with metal caps. The tires should be replaced due to age. I recommend keeping the original tires / wheels for show purposes and getting a second set for daily driving.

The heated power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in tan leather and are complemented by color-coordinated door panel inserts. New BMW floor mats (not pictured due to photo limit) line the footwells, and interior equipment includes a cassette stereo, an onboard computer, power windows and locks, cruise control, and dual-zone climate control. The carpeting and leather are immaculate, and the interior still looks like new except for some upholstery separation around the door panel pockets. The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel shows no signs of wear and frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, instant fuel economy, and fuel level. The odometer indicates @21k miles, approximately 600 of which were added under current ownership.

The illuminated trunk is clean as new and includes the original spare tire (never used), jack and full tool kit, as well as a correct BMW battery.The car comes with two keys and one original key fob.

The car starts, runs and drives perfectly with no issues. Every item and accessory on the car functions well, including the handheld map light. The 2.5-liter M50B25 inline-six was factory rated at 189 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. Service records prior to my ownership include oil changes, brake flush, and replacement of driver seat motor, brake caliper, battery, and an AC recharge. The underside of the car is original and clean and still wears factory coatings on all components, including its original exhaust system.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists its history in Connecticut.
