Brought this car to do a 6sp manual swap from the M5/M6 v10
1992 BMW 8-Series
BMW 8-Series E31. Comes with the desirable Genuine M-ParallelOEM factory wheels (5 wheels). The spare in the trunk is like new. These 4 wheels are currently selling for~$1000 on Ebay. I originally bought this car to do a manual 6sp swap from the M5/M6 since I love the 8-series design from 90s. It was my dream car in high school.However, I have many other higher priority projects now so I'm selling it. The body is in great condition beside the faded rear quarter panel on the driver’s side. The car has never been in an accident per previous owner, and I only see very minor corrosion underneath the car.In person, glacier blue is a beautiful paint color, and I will repaint the same color if I pursue restoring it. The car comes with a main key/wkey fob and a spare key. The title is clean and in my name. It’s an excellent platform to do a manual swap or an EV. The E31 design is timeless and they don't make car like this anymore. I can help you arrange to have it shipped but shipping cost is the buyer’s responsibility. I want to provide a full disclosure on this car. The previous owner told me the car has about195K miles. The car does not run.You will need a trailer to transport it to your destination. It's a V12 850i. As I stated in my posting, my goal was to do aswap to the newer M5/M6 V10 6 speed manual - like other folks did to their E31.

Some people asked why not rebuild the engine since this V12 enginecan go to 400k. Well, I have two other850 E31 and both are automatic. One is1992 850i 5.0L v12 with only 65k miles.The other is a 1996 850Ci 5.4L v12 with 120k miles. The120k mile had gone through an extensive engine rebuilt, updated interior leather,audio, and electronic with backup camera and LED lights.
After seeing several E31 6sp manual swaps online, I got thishigh mileage car with the intention do the swap and part-out the engine. Some people asked if the car had been in anaccident that hasn’t been reported. Tome, all the panels’ gaps look correct, and I don’t see any sign of repairs.
