Vehicle DetailsThis beautiful 1974 BMW 3.0CS was fully restored and re-built in 2008 by one of the top BMW E9 restoration shops in the country. Coupe King, located in the Los Angeles area, re-built this vehicle and sold it to an owner also in the LA area who kept it until I purchased the vehicle, which was on consignment at Coupe King, in 2018 and moved it to Texas.
When they did the build, all necessary prep work and body work was completed and it was re-painted in Polaris Silver. The paint was done right and still looks beautiful today and has no known issues.
The interior is nearly perfect. Finished in Navy Blue Leather. The wood trim is in outstanding condition. It has a Nardi steering wheel which matches the wood trim nicely. There is a modern style Blaupunkt Head Unit with Hertz Speakers and there are Coco floor mats.
The Engine is a completely rebuilt Euro CSi 3.0 M30 engine with Dual Weber 32/36 carbs and Getrag 5-speed Transmission. It starts, runs and drives perfectly. It’s fast and really fun to drive.
The odometer shows 75719 miles. Actual total mileage is unknown but approximately 10K miles have been put on the car since it was restored.
It has a Euro Bumper Conversion, Shaved Marker Lights and Italian Turn Signals.
When I purchased the vehicle, I had Coupe King do a complete AC System upgrade to their High Speed, High Efficiency AC Package. It blows cold and has been great in our Hot Texas Summers.
We also purchased and had them install Coupe King 16” Alpina Style Wheels with polished lips and Continental DWS Extreme Contact Tires. Which look great on this car. There has been very little use on the tires and they are in great condition and the wheels are like new.
Recent work includes rebuilding of the Steering Box, replacing of control arm and sway bar bushings. Complete Tune up, oil change and a new Battery.
This is a beautiful car that was built right buy a top professional, needs nothing and is ready to drive, show and enjoy for many years to come.
