This 1993 BMW 850Ci is powered by a 5.0-liter V12 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Jet Black over black leather upholstery. The car was sold new in California, where it remained through the current owner’s acquisition in 2013. The pillarless coupe’s exterior is finished in Jet Black and features pop-up headlights, fog lights, a power-operated sunroof, tinted windows, and quadruple exhaust outlets. Paint touchup work was reportedly completed under current ownership on the front bumper, mirrors, and trunk. The seller states that the kidney grilles and front air dam have been replaced. Stock 16” throwing star BMW wheels replaced with 17” BMW BBS style 5 in 2014 by owner, all 4 wheels and spare have same wheels all in good shape except one - see images. Service includes new tires 12/21 and replacing the front brake pads, and front brake rotors in 12/2019, rear disc brakes, sensor in 2018. Curb marks are visible on back wheel, see photos.

The heated and power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in black leather and are joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes dual-zone automatic climate control, NO dead pixels are noted in the on-board computer display or radio, the sunroof panel doesn’t work, and worked 3 years ago and was rebuilt in 2012 by previous owner, the drivers side seat has been restored to new and passenger side show normal age wear as well as back seats, there are no tears or holes and additional photos of the interior condition are provided in photos

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 190-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 185k miles, approximately 66k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.0-liter M70B50 V12 got a top end rebuilding at 165K miles and included: replacement of timing chain, tensioner, all top chain rails, reseal timing covers, replace crank seal, renew valve cover gaskets, replace spark plugs, ignition wires, distributer caps and rotors. Coolant System update: replace radiator, water pump thermostat, all coolant hoses, including all belts, pulley/tensioner, coolant temp sensor, expansion tank. AC system: replace compressor, AC drier, and heater valve under current ownership, with service records from a reputable BMW mechanic specializing in vintage BMWs.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The transmission was rebuilt in 2015 @135K miles, the driveshaft was replaced, and the center support bearing and transmission mounts were replaced in 2019. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the photos.

Noted items of wear or damage

_SRS warning - has been diagnosed as driver seat belt, but not repaired

_Sunroof was refurbished in 2013 before I bought it and has worked until 3 years ago.

_Drivers side back window seal has quarter size damaged

_Interior shows age appropriate wear to steering wheel, door handles and gear shift.

_Headliner shows areas of release but overall good condition and hasn’t change in the 10 years of current owner.
