Vehicle Details

I bought the car last year. It came out of a barn that it sat in for 8 years. Super fun to drive, but needs work. Rust free!!!

I completely restored the seats, center console, door panels, and had the capets deep cleaned. The expense for the interior was about $3,500.

Mechanically, I had over $6,000 worth of work done to get it drivable. I’m happy to send the receipts from my mechanic to see all the details: new front and rear brakes, rear brake caliper and hoses, tires, timing belt, water pump, heater blower motor, trunk strut, rear shocks, front struts, front lower control arm bushings, new fluids….

I drove the car all summer/fall. At the end of last year, the car sprung an oil leak and has not been driven since. The power windows all work and roof goes up and down. Clutch is working well.

The bad of the car:

- Oil leak, unknown origin

- Transmission: 3rd gear grinds when shifting into it. All other gears work fine, including reverse

- instrument cluster has lights but speedometer doesn’t work and true mileage is unknown. Its not much higher then what’s on the odometer. The previous owner said when he parked it, the gauge worked, and I only drove it around town. Added a couple thousand miles

- needs a complete paint job

- radio doesn’t work

- needs a new battery

- needs to be transported/towed out because of oil leak and I don’t want to risk the engine. It drove well the last time I took it out.
