1992 BMW 3-Series 325i

This 1992 BMW 325i convertible was acquired in 2017 and subsequently modified with a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in black over tan leather, and equipment includes an M-Tech-style body kit, a black soft top, 17″ Style 5 wheels, an E36-sourced steering rack, Ground Control coil-overs, a custom exhaust system, air conditioning, an AKG short shifter, and a Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth capability. This E30 convertible is now offered with spare parts, two sets of keys, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title the name of the owner’s company.
The car is finished in Schwarz and features a black convertible soft top that was replaced under current ownership. M-Tech II front and rear bumper covers have been refinished and installed along an M-Tech trunk spoiler. Equipment includes projector headlights, fog lights, red taillights, painted mirror caps, a shortened antenna, a tinted convertible top window, and twin exhaust outlets. The seller states that the hood and trunk lid were refinished under current ownership, and the third brake light has been deleted.
Black 17″ Style 5 wheels feature polished lips with BBS-branded center caps and are mounted with 235/40 Yokohama S-drive tires that are in need of replacement. Service in 2017 included replacing the lower control arms, front and rear sway bar end links, and brake booster and master cylinders. An E36 M3 steering rack, Ground Control coil-overs, and polyurethane subframe bushings were also installed. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes that have been upgraded with orange Wilwood six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers as well as braided-steel lines. The seller states that the brake pads and rotors are in need of replacement.
The cabin features seats that were reupholstered under current ownership in tan leather with a matching shift boot and door panel inserts. The cabin and trunk carpets were also replaced, and a Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth capability has been installed in the glove box. Additional amenities include air conditioning, keyless entry, an anti-theft alarm system, carpeted floor mats, and power windows, locks, and side mirrors. An AKG short shifter has been installed, and the bushings were replaced in 2017.
The Italvolanti BBS steering wheel is said to have been reupholstered under current ownership and fronts VDO instrumentation including a 150-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 133k miles, approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six is said to have been sourced from an E36 M3 and was installed in 2017 by Castro Motorsports of North Hollywood, California. The engine has been fitted with an E34 oil pan, a Mishimoto aluminum radiator, a Racing Dynamics carbon-fiber engine cover, and a fabricated exhaust system. Additional service at the time of the engine swap included replacing the following components:

The factory automatic transmission has been replaced with a five-speed manual transmission. Service under current ownership included installing a replacement driveshaft, clutch, and clutch cylinders as well as polyurethane transmission and differential mounts.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California with a gap in entries between 2005 and 2014.
The car has been smogged in December of 2022 and is currently registered, but it might not pass the smog in certain states due to modifications. The California title is labeled as a duplicate.
