1992 BMW 5-Series

A beautiful and very well built 1992 BMW E34 M5 Touring Clone that was originally a 525i Automatic Touring. This wagon was built by BMW SpecialistsMasterClass Automotive in Miami, FL. It was a no-rush project that took over 3 years. The M52 engine came out of an E36 328i that had only 38K actual miles on it when removed and currently has under 40K miles on it. It was modified with S52 Cams, a larger air intake and OBD1 Engine management. A Z3 5-speed manual transmission, rear differential out of an E34 535i and full E34 M5 exhaust were also installed. Additional modifications include OEM BMW 18" M-Parallel wheels with new Bridgestone Potenza tires and Bilstein shocks with H&R Springs. OEM E34 M5 bumpers, Ground effects, full exhaust system, trim, door sills, instrument cluster and seats are from a 1992 M5 Sedan as well as an M-Tech II steering wheel and OEM badging. E36 M3 side mirrors were also used. Many other items such as fog lights, side markers and trim pieces are NOS parts. The body was straight and rust free prior to refinishing in originalSchwarz IIpaint. This BMW wagon runs and drives as good as it looks and is ready to show and can also be used as an every day driver. By far the coolest grocery getter around. The odometer was reset to zero after the build and the BMW message center at the bottom of the cluster was disconnected due to 5-speed manual swap readings but can be easily plugged back in. Everything is working as new including ice cold A/C, power windows dual power sunroof, power seats and Kenwood stereo with new amplifier and speakers.
