Here is where the famous 3 series BMW got it's start. This 1975 BMW 2002, has an original 4 cylinder M10 motor with a 4 speed manual. Polaris silver with a blue interior. The vehicle runs great and has only been used for weekend drives. It steers and stops straight. It is not perfect but a very nice driver. It was a 2019 show winner at a local car show for Best Pre 1980 Import. Tires are in greatshape with lots of life left. I've owned the car for about 2 years and really haven't done much to it. Inthe last two years I have installed a new webbercarburetor, replacedthe windshield, and had the hood repainted (because of a wind storm and mykid's basketball goal). Overall I would rate the paint as a 7 out of 10. The roof and rear trunk lid paint is a bit faded. The car is complete with jack and tire tools in the trunk. All the lights, gauges, wipers and horn function as they should. Kenwood AM/FM cd player for tunes. The car has aftermarket HR springs and Bilstein shocks and rides great and corners super flat. I believe the car may have had a dealer installed ac system but it is not functioning. (there are controls on the dash) There is no major rust that I'm aware of. There are a few minor paint bubbles on the driver side rear quarter and passenger door. I would guess the 17,694 miles showing on the odometer are not original. Perhaps 117,694? If you follow these BMWs you know the value of these is on the upswing. This is a super safe investment and fun car to drive and enjoy. Get one while they are still affordable. This car gets comments and thumbs up every time I have it out. My garage is full and it is time to clear some space so something must go.
