1988 BMW 6-Series 635CSI

My E24 is in excellent condition. It is a very nice driver and is in better condition than 99% of the E24's out there.Wheels are lightweight 16x8 Style 4's from a 750iL. Recent maintenance includes all new rear suspension (included eliminating the SLS). It handles nice and tight and there are not any squeaksor rattles. I also replaced thevalve cover gaskets, AC compressor, rebuilt the cluster, and reupholstered the front seats. Actual mileage is probably closer to 80k as the cluster was broken for a while. The AC was converted to R134a and blows cool (not ice cold).
All 4 power windows and the sunroof work as they should. All lights are working. The power seats move as they should (although the foam is a little soft). The radio and OBC works--although it is an older radio and there is some static. I have no idea if the cassette works as I own no cassettes! The wipers work well. I have no idea if the cruise works as I never use cruise control. The power antenna recently stopped working. The driver door lock does not work from the outside key cylinder (you have to lock and unlock from the trunk or passenger door).
The paint is nice and shiny except for a little bit of visible clear coat wear on the cowl by the wipers. There is also a scratch on the passenger rear quarter panel. The color is Luxor Beige Metallic which is an extremely rare color. This has always been a west coast car living only in Santa Barbara and sunny and dry Southern Oregon. There is no rust (except for the outside of the muffler) that I am aware of. I am located on I-5 in Medford, Oregon. It a clear and clean title. Similar cars have sold for $12,900 on Bringatrailer. I am offering here for a quick sale.
This is being sold as-is where-is with no warranties expressed or implied. There is no buyer's remorse and no returns. It is a 32 year old car and anything can and will break on it at some time. Can you get it and drive it to San Diego? Probably. Might it break down? Possibly--but less likely than driving a 1988 Ford Mustang. Do understand that you are buying a 32 year old car and not a 3 year old Toyota Camry--expect some imperfections.
