1989 BMW 325iX for sale. A very cool e30 BMW, but we have too many classic vehicles here.
This is an AWD model that was well optioned from the factory. A/C, leather heated seats, sunroof, cruise control, ski pass-through in the rear seat.
We’ve owned it for about 4 years. Great car. Fun to drive, awesome looks, really nice red color. Comfortable for me at 6’4”, with a rear seat useable by adults.
The odometer quit about 2 years ago at 175,000. We put about 3000 miles on it each year prior to that, in summer use only. (Stored in an airplane hangar in the winter). The driving pattern has been the same since, so I’d put it at around 181,000 +/-. The speedometer and cruise control still operate normally. It runs great, started up immediately after emerging from winter storage.

Good:-Regular maintenance always performed, oil changes etc.-Complete, $1400 brake job in 2019-Brand new windshield in 2017. (No accident, the old one had become difficult to see through).-Trunk area repaired professionally, very solid.-Nice Konig wheels with black BMW center caps-Total new Sony sound system and speakers, with Bluetooth.-Leather front seats from a low mile 325 convertible. Good shape, firm, comfortable. Rear seats-leatherette, good shape.-Short shift kit makes shifting a pleasure, very smooth and precise
Needs attention:-Needs left front axle boot-Small areas of rust, bottoms of doors, see photos.-Needs tires. I had them rotated prior to winter storage, which introduced an intermittent shimmy to a previously smooth ride. I thought about “unrotating” them, but honestly I’d just get new tires. It’d be fine to drive back home, though.-Fuel tank repaired professionally, near filler neck. The fuel tank may need replacing in the future.-A/C does not work, all components are there.-Drivers side door lock does not work from the outside, with the key.-Turn signals do not automatically cancel-Slight streaks in paint on hood, see video.
