1969 BMW 2000 Automatic Neue Klasse
1969 BMW 2000 Neue Klasse
This 1969 BMW 2000 Automatic was sold new in California, reportedly remained with its original owner until 2012, and was acquired by the Malamut Auto Museum out of Arizona. Finished in Florida green over a brown interior, the car is powered by a numbers matching 2.0L inline-four coupled, a 320i head, and with an automatic transmission. New lower ball joints were installed this year, and less than 500 miles have been added under current ownership. This Neue Klasse sedan is now offered with records beginning in 1969, factory manuals, expired registration documents, a stamped maintenance booklet, and a clean California title.
The cabin features brown vinyl seats with cloth inserts and headrests, which were reportedly reupholstered in 1994. Wood trim accents the dash and the door panels, and an aftermarket cassette stereo with an auxiliary input has been installed.
A factory three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 120-mph VDO speedometer and an aftermarket Sunpro 8k-rpm tachometer. Approximately 800 miles are shown on the five-digit odometer. True mileage is believed to be 100,800 based on service records. Less than 500 miles have been driven under current ownership.
A stamped maintenance booklet, expired registration documents, and service records dating to 1969 are included in the sale.
