Description:

1989 BMW M3

Up for grabs is my well kept and well loved E30M3 for the past 18 years. I turned mid age recently and it is time for me to upgrade into something more subtle. This car turns heads at shows, in the streets basically anywhere I take it I get thumbs up. Clean, tastefully upgraded through the many years of ownership.
Have won several awards and made front cover of Performance BMW Magazine with many pages inside which you will see in the photos. The lucky buyer will enjoy this car, very dependable and wants to be driven. I hope it will be taken care of like I did. The car continues to climb up in price. I drive it occasionally in weekends in the summer, garaged in the winter. Car is clean, all original panels, runs well and pulls hard when throttled from 3,000 rpm, the power band is long and smooth to enjoy the thrill.
Have lined-up with a Cayman GT4, E92 M3, E60M5 and e36 M3 AA Supercharged it will hang with it so you get an idea how fast it is in open roads. To those that have seen this car in shows and meets, thank you for the compliments. Has collector's insurance for about 12 years now. Clean carfax, here are the things I have done since taking ownership as a stock vehicle with 80k+ miles with the original Alpine White II paint which was OK but looked tired and was in need of a refresh. Reasonable reserve. Good luck to the new owner.

Recent replacements I can remember in the last 2-4 years:
Bosch starterBosch alternatorBosch batteryRight lower control armClutch slave cylinderFuel filter
Other notables:
Custom A/C Lines so the air condition works converted to R134Alarm works but quietly (I have the siren but kept making noise so I took it out)
All fluids have been changed as needed. Only Mobil 1 synthetic, BMW coolant and Lubri-Moly on the differential. Brake fluid Super ATE, Under chassis is protected by an anti-rust coating. Runs straight as an arrow, alignment is perfect. Drives like stock, but changes character pretty fast, so it's a sleeper. I have never red lined the vehicle if anyone wants to know nor auto crossed, simply a show and weekend leisure car.
Things that need a little attention:
Gas needle works intermittently but low level light works, central door lock works on and off (just started acting up 2 weeks ago). I think its either the central lock module is loose (by driver rear speaker area) or I will order it.. Wiper water line needs to be compressed with air, think it has a block somewhere.
This is a 30 year old car, I have addressed all the things that I can remember to the best of my knowledge. Sold as-is with no warranty. Clean carfax, I am the 3rd owner. Potential buyers by appointment only, car is in a storage facility where we can meet. I welcome aPPI, I want you to be happy with your purchase. Will assist if you want it shipped out of state. No joyrides since this has collector's insurance. I will let the potential buyer sit on passenger side. I have some videos of the car see links below.

On Aug-15-19 at 18:20:27 PDT, seller added the following information:

Checked central control locking module by driver side speaker, pressed-in module and relay connections and it works now. I open and close the door locks by the key remote, this way you don't risk of scratching the car paint. Gas cap is fairly new and fuse box cover as well. All interior and exterior bulbs are white LED's. Sony 10 CD changer in the trunk.
