The car was rinsed off before the photos, he car was not detailed so you can see it in its original condition, he engine bay was not detailed for anyone that wants to inspect it. I can also add more photos of anything on request.
I have a great INKA 1974 BMW 2002tii, his is a loved car that is my daily driver. She cruises down the highway at 75mph no problem, s as smooth as a cadillac and straight as an arrow down the road. This is an original INKA tii and I was told it was originally purchased at Crevier BMW.
I was working on this car as if I would have it forever, used all NOS parts if I could find them, see below for a detailed list) all recommended BMW fluids and BMW certified techs to work on the car. There is lots of documentation and is fun to read through the life of this car. It lived in Newport Beach until a year ago when I brought it to Scottsdale, Z.
I do not see any signs of rust repair on the car, here is a little exposed metal in the rear where she was bumped and that is starting to get some surface rust, here is a small bit by the antenna and by the passenger window. Check over the photos and let me know if you have any questions.
I do love this car and have been driving it daily for almost a year, have worked out most issues and the only pending things are, etting the rear of the car pulled and sprayed, dding the early style bumpers (rear included in sale), edoing the engine vacuum lines, ligning the headlights, ixing the clock, etting the speedometer calibrated, utting freon into the AC and a ’secret sauce tune-up'. The speedometer was replaced and it has been marked on the title. the car was registered in CA and I have not registered it in AZ so the title still shows from the previous owner.
The car was resprayed at one point, he paint polishes up nicely.
Depending on your intentions this would be a great car for an easy full restoration or leave it as is and enjoy the ‘hang loose’ and thumbs up everywhere you go.
