Up for sale is a freshly imported JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) 1990 BMW 318i. This car has unbelievably covered only 44K miles (71,000 kilometers). I have the JEVIC Certificate (Japan Export Vehicle Inspection Center Co Ltd), this is the company that certifies that the mileage is accurate and original. The interior and exterior are very clean, there are some tears as you can see from the photos in the drivers seat and a couple of cracks in the dash, which is to be expected for a car this age and is generally something that happens on E30 BMW models. The exterior is Lazurblau metallic blue over a gray cloth interior. The car comes with a full size spare and the original tool kit that is only missing a few tools. The car comes with the original owners manual and ALL service records from Japan. Also, the timing belt was changed at 13K miles (21K kilometers).
The car was imported legally and has a clean Tennessee title. I picked the vehicle up last week from the port of Jacksonville and drove the car 8.5 hours back to Tennessee. The car drove perfectly and averaged 37 mpg highway. The interior is quiet at highway speeds and the steering feedback is excellent, just like it should be. The transmission shifts smoothly and all of the gears in the four speed automatic engage properly. The air conditioning and the heat works as it should. The car starts nicely and the 113 horsepower 4 cylinder runs smoothly.
I have all of the paperwork showing how I imported the car from Japan. This would make a great vehicle for a rural postal carrier or a BMW enthusiast looking for something clean, unique and with low miles.
