Description:

1971 BMW 2002

You're probably looking for a Porsche 911, maybe even a 912 (so affordable right?)...yeah I had one too, sold it for some french fries, now I'm basically homeless. But there's still some affordable German cars out there....like this 1971 BMW 2002 (oooh those tail lights are sooo round, none of that square garbage around here). Seriously though...I've owned this since 2012 (?)...got it in Vacaville, CA...previous owner was in the Bay Area, now it's been spending all of it's time in Reno, NV and is basically rust free (don't look at that roof...the sunroof drip rails got backed up which resulted in surface rust for daaays).
I threw some Ireland Engineering Stage 2 springs and Bilstein Sport struts and then just drove it every day until I decided fuel injection was the future and got a modern "vehicle" (it's really just a soulless box). Car was originally Malaga (that's Burgundy in some language that I don't know), now it's kind of an Atlantik Blau (that's Atlantic Blue, so fancy...you know your car is really special when the color has too many vowels in it). Black interior, speaker boxes on the rear floor (holding 5x6's), Weber 32/36, Optima Blue Top (don't let that Yellow Top fool you), M3 starter (ohhh so sporty), and a ton of love and miracles?
Let's get back to the real reason you're buying this...Jay Leno likes them, and he's cool, you want to be cool too, right? Magnus Walker probably owns 20 and just won't tell the internet about it yet (I see what you're doing Magnus...not cool). I'm sure someone famous called it the greatest car that ever existed in the WHOLE UNIVERSE...Einstein most likely said that. Everyone's dad had one of those in the late 70s/early 80s..and we all know dads are cool! I've got a dad mustache, so I can relate. It drives great, it's a 4 speed, it probably has more than 20 horse power and less than 200 horse power (it's in that sweet spot).
I won't deliver it, I won't meet you anywhere but Sparks, NV (maybe even Reno, NV). It can drive onto trailers all day, slap it on the back of a tow truck, throw it in a container and send it to Norway...who knows. You should pay for it in some form of currency that I know is real (no Monopoly money today). It's got a reserve that is more than $20 and less than $20,000 (once again...right in that sweet spot).
Basically if you like having fun and being awesome and eating pizza or burritos then this is your car. Everyone's going to become your best friend and maybe even shower you with money and lavish gifts (if they don't you just haven't waited long enough). I'd keep it, but I have another one and as they say "If you love something, set it free"...or "If you give a mouse a cookie..."..."gotta catch 'em all"...it's in there somewhere. BUY IT NOW and make your neighbors so jealous that you sell it to them for a HUGE profit then you get that Lambo you've been eyeing.
Check out these links to see it doing it's thang on the YouTubes.

Gauge cluster: speedo and odometer don't work, most likely needs a new cable. Rear seat is split at the top, door cards have speaker holes in them (though speakers are in boxes on rear floor...no cutting), trunk is rust free, unicorns are most likely imaginary.
