This car is about as unique and rare a BMW 2002 Tii can be. Is factory documented original Inka Tii, all numbers matching, updated, redone, improved. Same car as BMW factory rebuilt in a glass display outside BMW factory (first picture in folder is not car not one for sale)

A rare Inka 1973 BMW 2002Tii with everything updated, tested, daily driver, no corrosion ready for everything from daily driving to concourse collecting. Numbers matching rebuilt engine, updated fuel injection, Butyl rubber (dyanmat pro style) sound deadening throughout interior, new OEM style salt and pepper carpet, 320is BMW Recaros redone in perforated euro vinyl, new headliner, nice dash, nice updated paint throughout car, BMW OEM factory mag wheels, new brakes, hydraulics, all new OEM / dealer AC blows perfectly cold even variable speed switch on AC updated and working

Engine & Drive train

·Numbers matching engine rebuilt this year few years ago along with complete Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection. Everything stock runs terrific, reliable.

·All peripherals on engine were replaced with new when engine . Upgraded new 320iS radiator and hoses

·Cold start system has been upgraded with push button “choke” style button on steering column. Just push when car is cold as starting car. Easy and reliable no worrying about 50 year old relay to function or malfunction flooding car

·New Battery, new clutch, new brakes, new brake hoses, cool stainless throaty muffler

Body and Appearance

·Car was in original Inka paint when we received but had some fading, pealing of paint. We stripped most of car and repainted with OEM Inka base coat clear coat, wet sanded buffed, trim reinstalled

·OEM belt trim removed and reinstalled for paint. All in nice shape there are a few pieces with minor imperfections.

·New front windshield, all new rubber seals in front and back glass, side windows, doors, chrome inserts in front and back glass all new

·New windshield wipers, wiper motor all checked works great

·Re-chromed center section on rear bumper. Front bumper in good shape but has some chrome pitting in center section

·Trim all in excellent shape

·Glass in excellent shape

·Bottom of car in un-molested in like new shape. Has been power washed and detailed in black paint for preservation, no undercoating. Pedal box rebuilt with new throttle linkage detailing, hinge on pedal, new pads on brake and clutch

Interior

·Updated interior with very cool OEM style new salt and pepper carpet, butyl rubber sound deadening, heat barrier carpet pad, original front and rear door panels in nice shape, dash excellent shape, new M style shift boot, new headliner

·AC and Heat system works perfectly. Original Behr AC system was updated with new expansion valves. AC system under hood all new with Sandin 508 style compressor, new drier, hoses, fitting, condenser.

·Heater motor replaced rest of heater box and heater valve all removed, reconditioned and reinstalled. Heater works great as it did new with variable speed blow great and quite

·Recaro 320iS front seats are redone with euro perforated vinyl in seat area, updated foam, cables, etc. Look great bu If new owner prefers have original seats we can swap in… nice shape no tears.

·There is an old period correct Pioneer stereo car and speakers in car that probably works we have just not messed with. We prefer listening to custom throaty exhaust but can install stereo of buyers choice for minimal charge.

Electrical and other

·All electrical works as it should (turn signals, wipers, heater blower, brake light, etc.) All has been checked, updated with new components. Moved turn signal stalk to right side for convenience with later model more reliable BMW turn signal switch. Added in custom cold start button on left of steering column for ease and control of KF cold start

·Headlinernew OEM style white, A, B and C posts recovered in black vinyl

·Custom lighting added in foot wells along with new door opening switches. OEM overhead lighting works also

·Sport steering wheel added nice. Have original steering wheel can swap in if buyer prefers

·Like new BMW Tii mag wheels. New BMW roundels, tires in good shape but older tires

·Original dash in nice shape with one minor repair

·Trunk nicely sorted, all repainted. New trunk boards with OEM color gre vinyl

·Shock towers, frame rails, rockers all look as new. When going through car found only minor corrosion in 2 or 3 small areas under car that were cut out and replaced with new steel. Essentially about as rust free a Tii as you will find

·New rear OEM Boge/ Sachs shocks, Struts in nice shape
