For sale rare black 72 sunroof 2002 tii conversion.. It runs like dream for an old car . Maybe one of the best driving classic cars ever. The smooth powerful free revving engine is delightful to drive and the deep sound of the that exhaust, wow.. Exceptional handling stopping and and ride quality . This very straight car is maybe one of less than 5 % in this color. It has recent glass and interior out basecoat clear coat paint job. All trim removed and replaced with new clips and clamps any rust was cut out and replaced with new steel . The trunk and under hood also painted at that time. The door jambs are still original paint. Not show but nice driver quality .New window seals including quarter glass, trunk seal oem installed. New sunroof seals and already replaced S/R cables New headliner, and carpet installed. Recaro seating very comfortable. 72 First year of retractable seat belts but these have been replaced with 76 style oem ones like new condition. The trans i shifts smooth and quiet Still 4 spd . The diff rear end and steering are excellent. It has Bilstein gas shocks replaced ball joints, lower control arms . Brakes were gone through a while back and work great. This is a strong 1972 tii engine with the early intake runners really performs. No smoke no oil leaks anywhere on this car! Good compression above 160 lbs. Just serviced All tii components present minus the clock. Rear boxed trailing arms beefier front struts and tii brakes and booster. replaced tii fuel tank (now price $1000) Fuel pump, cold start relay etc. The bad: Guages work well but odo stopped so true miles unknown. The heater fan does not work. The radio is not working. The dash has two cracks on top section and three on bottom section. It can be recovered with stitching by a local source I know or completely redone in So Cal to stock look but pricey This is one fun car that gets a lot of looks. It can be used as an everyday driver. It has great investment potential and is fair priced. I am sure I could say more but if serious only , call 650-218-0537.
