Just in, a very nice 1987 BMW 325i Convertible. Previous owner just bought a 06 BMW 650 Convertible. He only used this BMW as a summer toy for the last 12 years. Never drove it in winter. As every BMW from this era, it is nicely equipped. Factory A/C, power windows, locks and mirrors. Top is manual. Great BMW 2.5 Liter Inline 6 (168 hp) paired with an automatic transmission. Here is your chance to own an iconic 80s convertible, these are becoming harder to find.
EXTERIOR: As you can see, as nice as you are going to find for a 30 year old driver. I believe all paint to be original. Top was replaced just over 2 years ago. All glass and lenses are good. There is some minor rust starting at the base of the passenger side of the windshield (pic) and driver's side dogleg (pic). The frame, rockers and underneath are clean for the year. Great start for a proper restoration or with some minor work keep it as a driver.
INTERIOR: This is where this car needs its work. All seats have sun damage and should be replaced or repaired. The dash, carpet and door panels are fine. All options work as they should, including A/C. Top goes up and down smoothly. This car is worth doing some interior work.
MECHANICAL: A nice car. Engine is strong. Transmission is good. All tires are 75%. Current PA emissions and inspection (8-17). I will put a fresh pair of stickers on this vehicle for any PA resident. This is a well maintained vehicle and will give the next owner years of enjoyment to come.
