1989 BMW 3-Series Coupe
I never thought I would sell my baby but unfortunately I have to sell due to financial reasons. I am the 2nd owner and purchased it in 2004 from the original owner when it had 89,000 miles . I have pampered it and it's been never abused. I have all the maintenance records including the original books and records. I rebuilt the transmission about 2 years ago and haven't driven more than 2,000 miles since then. I put most of the miles in the first 4 years when I had to drive to law school in Orange County 3 times a week. The engine is in perfect condition. Everything works (A/C, Power Windows, Power Door locks, Power mirrors, etc.) I replaced the wheels to the "is" wheels and have changed the center hub caps twice. The tires were replaced a few months ago and come with the spare wheel/tire in the trunk.This vehicle is a 325i Coupe but I converted it to a 325is look by painting the side mirrors white, adding the bottom front spoiler lip, the "is" wing, changed the wheels to the stock "is" wheels, and of course the "325is" emblem. I have not changed the interior except for painting the odometer needles red to give it the E30 M3 look. Everything else is stock. I still have the original stereo with a cassette player (works perfectly) and will include it in the sale.
It is a 1989 BMW 325i with Automatic Transmission (can be converted to manual), full power, Manual Sunroof, etc. I have changed the timing belt, valve cover gasket, changed the oil every 1,000 miles since I rarely drove it after the first4 years of ownership. Tune-up was just completed last month. Newer shocks, Idle Control Unit, Temperature Control Unit, Full Service,... The only flaws this car has are the 3 or 4 cracks on the dashboard and the small tear in the headliner by the sunroof (the headliner got stuck when I was opening the sunroof only once and caused the tear -- It opens and closed as it should)and the clear coat is starting to come off on the driver's side door and right rear quarter panel. I repainted the rest of the body last year. Other than that, it literally looks and drives like a brand new car. It has never been in an accident and has a clean title.
I also have a set of brand new "Angel Eyes" headlights which I have yet to install and new fog lights. I may include them depending on the offer. Asking $7,200 for the car. Cash only.
