Up for AUCTION NO RESERVE 1969 BMW 2002 in granada Red color with a black interior color. THE CAR IS ALL MATCHING NUMBERS (engine, stamped chassis number, vin plate 1660152).I saw this 2002 covered and the roundie taillight was exposed in the parking lot of a mechanics shop in Torrance CA. I inquired if its for sale and the owner of the shop was considering selling the 2002 for the right price. Long story short I bought the 2002. Owner said it was park for more than 10 years covered in his lot.The engine -Was fully rebuilt with all new parts installed needed to complete the build. -New 32/36 weber double barrel carburetors.-Rebuilt original radiator.-New electronic ignitionThe interior-Have new upholstery for the front LR seats and the back seat.-New headliner.-New dashboard shield that looks very original.-All front and back sidings was refurbished.-Trunk has new carpet board.The exterior-Paint is 7 out of 10 considering the time it spent covered for almost 10 years.-The chrome body trim moulding was polished.-Panasport 6 X 14 Tires 195/60/14 are still almost new.-This 2002 is a solid car with only two areas of known surface rust. The rust is located on the left trunk lid near the trimmings and passenger side rear quarter panel. Shock towers (both front and rear), spare wheel area, undercarriage and floorboards are solid. -The paint condition of this 2002 is very good. Pictures show it still shinny car would need a paint job at some point of time if so desired. There are some chips on the paint but very small. Over all the BMW 2002 is mechanically, runs and drives very good for a 46 year old car its ready for a ROAD TRIP.
