I bought this BMW about three years ago. I was going to do a complete restoration however I have decided I want to get an e60. The BMW had a complete engine rebuild by a reputable BMW shop in Ohio about 7,000 miles ago. It was a slight performance rebuild it was bored out to 3.7 liters with ported and polished heads. I have replaced all of the HVAC system including the heater core. It has a new clutch, Cool carbon brake pads and Turner Rotors. It has stage 3 Dinan suspension with about 7500 miles on it. It has heated memory comfort seats and door panelsfrom a 95. With one touch windows. The wood trim is Birds Eye maple and includes the drivers glovebox. The rims were completely restored and have brand newMichelin Pilot Sports with about 1,000 miles on them. It has Billy Boat exhaust with the secondaryair pump delete. We changed to asingle vane power steering pump and it has a Dinan chip. It will also come with an E.A.T. chip that I have never installed. I just replaced the rear shock mounts with Moose Head mounts. It has an ECS tuning short shifter with DSSR. I have rear smoked Hellataillights that I haven't installed that will come with it. The Hella headlights were installed about 6 months ago and were brand new. I have changed all of the fluids etc and aside from some minor body repair it needs nothing. The transmission shifts smoothly through all of the gears. The S38 pulls extremely hard all of the way to redline. Unlike most of these I see for sale I have taken care of all of the most expensive M5mechanical items and all she needs is a few cosmetic blemishes fixed. I also have an ACS rear spoiler that I was planning on painting and installing that will come with the car and an e36 steering wheel with thumb rests. It does have an aftermarket stereo Kenworth and a full G.A.S setup with the 10" box. When the rebuild was done they replaced almost everything and did the tensioner upgrade, lightweight flywheel, etc. etc. She is a great daily driver with ice cold AC and great heat.
