Very Very Nice. This little car is in great shape. Low mileage and very clean. VIN SAXXL2S1R21259880 I bought this car 4 years ago and have done very little to it except enjoy it. The car has been repainted by a previous owner and had all the correct trim and markings restored to the original patterns from 1984. This car was originally sold in Germany, hence it is a LEFT hand drive car, and not the normal right hand drive you would find in an English car. Many maintenance records included with sale from the previous owner, who used this car as a daily driver. Engine cylinder head was rebuilt and installed under care of the previous owner in 2017 at 61,198 miles due to engine overheat. (all repair records included). Note: All mileage statements quoted here are converted into miles from kilometers. The interior is all original except for the floor carpeting which was replaced in 2015. The car has no radio which is normal for cars sold in Germany. Also, there is no air-conditioning, which none of the Minis had in 1984 but I want to say it up front just so there is no misunderstanding. The only repair/upgrades I have done to the car are replace the original radiator with a new one 2018, install a new fan belt, and replace the heater control valve. I run the car with no thermostat as I find the car runs too hot for Virginia summers. In a more temperate climate I would reinstall the the thermostat. These cars are extremely popular with enthusiasts and have a very large following, hence all parts for the car and engines are purchased easily through Mini only parts suppliers or British car suppliers like Moss Motors. There is one spot of rust under the paint on the lower edge of the passenger side door; see photos. Two front tires are new.
