1967 Austin MINI COOPER 1275 S

You're bidding on a factory original 1967 Austin Cooper 1275 S left-hand drive example that was built May 11, 1967 and sold to the U.S May 15, 1967 where it spent it's life in Main, Florida, Georgia, California and Virginia
I purchased this car from a dealer on May 12, 2012 and only drove it a few hundred miles since. This car has a California title and registration but I recently moved to northern Virginia where it resides currently. The dealer before me purchased the vehicle from a gentleman in Dacula Georgia who owned it in the early 90s.. The previous owner had the car repainted and added fiberglass aftermarket wheel arches over the original arches.See pictures.
Nothing was cut or modified so the fiberglass arches can simply be removed if you want the original look which was my intention but never got to do it. The car is equipped with a set of after market wheels but I do have the original mini wheels that will be included. Original spare wheel, tool kit and factory owner manual is also included.
This mini is finished in Tartan Red with white roof and is powered by it's factory original and matching number 1275cc engine certified by British Motor Industry Hertitage Trust. Mileage is just over 17k miles. This factory mark I came equipped with the dual gas tanks, front drive and passenger sliding glass and original chrome bumpers,(mk1 features only)There are few blemishes on a the paint such as small paint chips in a few area such as doors, hood.
The interior is unmodified and original with red/gray/gold inserts seats and door panels. The headliner andsun-visorsare also original.
Factory-installed options such as fresh air heater. The steering wheel was replaced by an aftermarket wheel but original steering wheel are available used. The original 1,275cc engine features twin SU carburetors and a factory oil cooler.
The original 4-speed manual gearbox that was rebuilt by the previous owner in the early 90s. I have stacks of receipts showing all work that was done on the car since the early 90s.Engine number 9F-SA-Y/46176 matches and recorded on the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate below.
For reference, this is a nice original factory 1275s as good or if not better than the one that recently sold on bring a trailer lot 12084 on Sept 4.This is a no reserve and will consider the highest bid. Don't wait until the last day to bid as it may no longer be available. Car is advertised elsewhere and may sell at anytime. Will consider all fair offers.
This vehicle is available for inspection so don't ask questions after the auction has ended.Highest bidder gets the car. Please only bid if you're serious and are ready to make payment.Shipping is available worldwide. Estimated shipping cost to Europe is $1200 ocean freight.
