1969 Austin Mini 1000 fiberglass body made in Chile

1969 Austin 1000

The body is made of fiberglass so there is no body rust. The dash is in rough shape and needs finishing. The seats have been recovered and look pretty good. The engine started by squirting fuel into the carb. I assume the fuel pump is dead. The engine was only briefly tested. The mechanical oil pressure gauge indicated that oil pressure was building. The gearbox worked in all gears and reverse. Brakes are bad. The pedal goes straight to the floor. Clutch seems to operate normally. Driver’s side window mechanism is not working and window does not roll up. Paint is fair, t has some nicks and chips. Solid restoration candidate. No VIN; engine number is shown. Mileage is unknown.
