1977 Austin Mini

1977 Austin Mini

The Mini was imported from New Zealand and thus is right hand drive.
Current total mileage is 68,000. I am told the odometer is correct.
There is some rust in the boot cover,right rocker panel,a tiny bit under each headlight and at the lower rear corner of each front fender. The mechanic was amazed at the lack of rust underneath.
The color is Persimmon. It was resprayed before leaving NZ.
Engine is 38hp, 998cc.
Four speed manual transmission.
The car is quite comfortable cruising at 60mph and is very easy to park.
All dash instruments refurbished and working.
The car drives well, startsright away with aid of choke when engine is cold.
Wheels,tires, brakesare new
Engine has fresh valve job, carb rebuild, radiator, exhaust, etc.
Removable towbarmountfabricated and installed.Tail lights, brake lights and turn signallights wired for towing behind RV
Wet weight 1357 lbs, under the 1,500 lb threshold for brakes while towing
We have the original owners manual and a file of repair receiptsplus other provenance
Reason for selling is we decided we do not need a tow car behind the motorhome.
