This Late Model Austin Healey 3000 MK III BJ8 is finished in Golden Sand Metallic and is equal to the original Metallic Golden Beige along with a black interior. Reportedly a frame off restoration took place in 2012 which included the 2.9L 6 cylinder engine and twin SU carburetors.
Braking system, suspension, bushings, hoses etc. all appear to be in excellent condition. The matching numbers 2.9L inline-six engine runs strong and is paired with a American Powertrain Tremec 5 speed transmission provided by The Driven Man and sporting a 0.63 fifth gear making a world of difference including lower RPM's .
Disc front brakes are drilled and slotted. Rear drum brakes. DOT 4 brake fluid.
Gauges, switches are in working order, battery is strong. Chrome in excellent condition including the 60 spoke chrome wheels.
The car has a stainless steel exhaust system.
Vredestein Sport Classic radials mounted on all 5 tires in March of 2022
A Wizard cooling radiator replaces the original.
