You are bidding on a 1956 Austin Healey 100 M Lemans genuine factory-built car. I purchased this in 1974 as a third owner. The car was originally purchased in California and brought back to Ohio in 1967. Factory color is red over black but was repainted solid red sometime before I purchased it. Since owning it, I've put approximately 2,000 miles on it and it is in about same condition as when I purchased it. It has been in storage since 1988. The car comes with the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate (as pictured) and the 100 M Le Mans registry certificate (also as pictured) #FC202.This Austin Healey 100 M Le Mans:
- Completely original rust-free body. Great chrome and glass
- Original top, side curtains, tonneau cover, seats and trunk lining
- No fabrication has been done to my knowledge
- Everything works- electrical, mechanical (brakes need adjustment), etc
- Original tires when purchased (not road worthy)
- All factory Le Mans numbers match - body, louvered hood, trunk, and aluminum cockpit surround, and engine to body
- Engine compression ratings are in the normal high range
- Excellent running condition - transmission and overdrive work smooth
