1969 Austin Healey Sprite
1969 Austin Healey Sprite, the final year the Sprite was exported to the US. Clean title in hand. Older restoration from 20 years ago. Very good condition inside and out. Runs and drives but needs tires and shocks but still can be test driven. Car idles and sounds great, shifts through all gears without any issues. Factory engine and transmission, all body panels are very straight and are original including floor pans. Lights and gauges work as designed. This is a very solid car, virtually rust free with the exception of 1 small hole in drivers floor pan and 2 tiny rust blisters as shown in the photos. Paint is still very good but has a few chips and maybe a scratch or 2 (probably could use a good buffing as the hood seem to be a shade lighter). Comes with original owner's manual and maintenance books, even the extremely rare metal owners identification name plate with owners card. Car has an interesting history as it was purchased by a Car Club, restored in 1998 and was a car event give away that same year. I have pictures before the car was restored to prove it was solid and straight before the restoration. This is not a show car but is a nice car you can drive and have lots of fun once said issues (tires, shocks, clutch fluid leak and charging) are taken care of. Note: Currently generator not recharging battery and there is a slow brake or clutch fluid leak (leaks on the drivers side floor mat).
