1953 Austin Healey Other

This BN1 Austin Healey 100-4 is a nice driver that's been well sorted and ready to enjoy. The current owner invested nearly $9000 in the last year to bring it to proper working order and a "turn-key" driver. It had been in storage for several years and was in need of some mechanical updating to make it reliable again. A short list of repairs includes:* New gas tank* Rebuilt generator* Oil change in motor trans and diff.* Rebuilt head w/ new valves guides seals and head gasket* Radiator hoses belts* New kingpins and new bushings* All new brake cylinders and flex lines* New piston rings and rod bearings* New fuel pump andfuel lines* New battery* many other small electrical and mechanical parts to bring the car back to reliable working condition. All repairs were performed by a reputable local British car restoration shop and with the intent of keeping the car.It has a strong running motor mated to adesirable3 speed with overdrive transmission. The leather seats and interior are in great condition the soft top is nearly new. It has a Sporty Moto-lita wood steering wheel stainless steel exhaust system and a period leather strap over a rare Le Mans Louvered hood. The tri-pod headlights Lucas fog lights and badge bar add to the period sports car feel. Most of the chrome is in great condition with the exception of the chrome wire wheels which are showing their age. The paint is not show quality nor is it an original color but it looks very nice for a "driver quality" car. The car comes with side curtains toneau cover receipts ofrecentrepairs and is being sold with a bill of sale and a clear New Hampshire Title. We encourage all potential buyers to arrange an inspection and test drive. It is important to us that the next owner be happy with this car. It's truly ready to drive tocrusenights or car shows.
