Up for sale is a very rare 1981 Audi 4000 5+5 2 door sedan. These are impossible to find and without any major rust even harder. This car has never been wrecked!Extremely rare car. Its a front wheel drive car with factory 5 cylinder instead of 4 cylinder fwd cars. As well its a 2 door which also makes the 5+5 very hard to find. Manual windows, mirrors, sunroof and no a/c, all factory ordered. Runs well. Just finished doing new valve cover gasket, am seal, vacuum lines, oil breather rubber tubing, fuel injector seals, oil & filter, timing belt, water pump, and idler roller, brake master cylinder, new door handles, Clutch works well. Also new front sway bar bushings and front control arm bushings. 14x6 VW GTI wheels. Silver exterior with light white/blue plaid interior. excellent shape considering age. one wear spot on driver upper bolster. coilover rear suspension. clean trunk. no major rust. surface rust only as expected. was gonna do a full restoration, but I dont have the time. Carpet is in good shape other than some staining that could be probably be shampooed out. Seats are a bit dirty, but are in pretty good shape. One small tear in drivers upper bolster. Bolsters are in like new condition. Rare driver and passenger seat adjustment handle(usually only driver side), Dash has plenty of cracks as these older ones typically do. This car has been in the heat in central Oregon many years which didnt help that. Sunroof doesnt work that well and needs to be looked at. Car was repainted at some point and it was not the best job. Original windshield still with a couple rock chips. Muffler is rusty and probably original. front rotors are near new and pads. rear are in great shape, parking brake works well. seat adjusters work well. Old School period correct Alpine Stereo that works. Heater fan is not working. new drivers door handle kinda sticks a little as the door handle fits very tight(made in china isnt always perfect fitment). Passenger side is German made and opens like new! both lock, etc. Wing windows work perfectly. Manual mirrors work great.Car is by no means perfect. Its clean and a good solid car. Comes with original jack, tools and spare.Original Wheels also will come with the car.Perfect to do a quattro build car like a friend of mine is doing. They made this car in Germany in a Quattro.
