From Hemmings:
“The Aston-MartinRacing Green paint looks nice, with a few minor blemishes noticed in the photosprovided. The owner mentions the rocker panels need some work, but it is barelynoticeable in the photos. The chrome and brightwork shines nicely. Theconvertible top looks to be in good condition, with a good fit and mostly clearwindows. The interior looks nice and clean and in good condition. The painteddash is a unique addition and looks nice, with no heavy scratches or damagenoticed. No rips or tears are
seen in theupholstery seen. The door panels are in good condition and free of excessivewear. The engine bay is nice and clean and in above average condition. Nophotos were provided of the undercarriage, but we assume it is in the samecondition as the rest of the car. Theowner lists a good amount of work and upgrade items that were
performed.
Overall, this looks likea nice example that has been well maintained over the years and tastefullyupgraded. The overall condition and the tasteful upgrades and modificationsshould attract a number of buyers, should the owner decide to sell.”
From the owner:
“This car is a blast to drive and drives so well! The handling is light and tight and theshifts are smooth and effortless. Thecolor, while not an original color to the MGB is a fabulous British RacingGreen from a British marque. Theconvertible top likewise is effortless and can be put up and down with onehand. The seats are comfortable andsupportive, and the sound system is a fun recent upgrade that is barelynoticeable and sounds fabulous. I’vebeen holding on to this for one of my children but he just doesn’t have spacefor it in his busy life. The luckybidder will truly be gaining a British gem I am sad to see go”.
