This 1974 Aston Martin V8 Coupe finished in stunning Tudor Green Metallic over Natural Connolly leather interior left the Newport Pagnell factory in October of 1974 and was sold new in Southern California where the car has been since new. This V8 Coupe still wears its original CA Blue plate and has just recently come out of a long time storage showing only 30,700 original miles. The car was driven until 1983 when it was put into storage in Southern CA. The car had been started off and on to keep the car moving but after resurfacing in the last two years an extensive amount of work has gone into making this car roadworthy again. The transmission was rebuilt, he fuel tank was just removed and treated, he carbs taken apart and rebuilt, ll of the fuel lines replaced, new fuel pump, ew belts and hoses, ew plugs and wires, ew cap and rotor, nd all fresh fluids, nbsp;a new battery, ew exhaust, nbsp;brand new Michelin XVS tires, rand new door and window seals on both driver and passenger doors, ront and rear bumpers freshly chromed and a thorough wet sand, uff and wax has just been done to the paint to bring it back to life. The build sheet on the car shows that this V8 left the Newport Pagnell factory in Tudor Green Metallic over Natural leather interior and verifies that this car is a matching numbers engine. All of the chassis numbers match and are present including the rockers with the chassis number stamped on them. The Tudor Green Metallic paint is partly original and part older repaint. The car shows remarkably well for its age with some checking in the paint on the roof and some starting on the trunk and passenger side rear quarter. There are some small chips here and there on the paint and some small scratches but the overall presentation of the paint shows very well; there is still a beautiful deep luster and shine. The body of the car is beautiful, side from some small dings here and there, he body is free from any damage or bondo or any rust of any kind. The undercarriage of the car is incredibly original and very tidy. There are no signs of any previous accident damage or any unusual repairs. The interior is stunning and all original from top to bottom. The leather shows beautiful patina and very little wear. There is no damage to the leather, nly slight creasing. The original carpets are in excellent condition except for one small heel mark on the driver side rug. The dash and door panels are in excellent original condition, ree from any shrinkage or wear. All of the electrical equipment appears to be functioning as designed including all of the exterior and interior lights, he turn signals, rake lights, ide marker lights, eadlights, icense plate lights and the engine hood light. All of the gauges are reading correctly except for the gas gauge which sometimes reads and sometimes does not. All of the interior lights are working including the dash lights, ll of the gauge lights and the center console and lower console lights, he courtesy lights and the glove box light. The engine starts right up and idles very well, he engine pulls very strong once warmed up and shifts through all of the gears with ease. The transmission shifts into gear with ease and pulls through all of the gears without hesitation. The suspension feels nice and tight and free from any clunking or noises. The steering is nice and tight and free from any drifting or play. This Aston Martin V8 has been well cared for and seen the proper storage its entire life.
